The "REAL" in Real Estate

Reading a variety of posts this morning has my mind visualizing many different scenarios I have been in, thought about being in, or heard happening to other Agents.

When it comes to being Real, I have no choice, but to be. I really wouldn't have it any other way, actually. I have a business that works directly with the public. That business requires contact on two main levels, in my opinion. The first is on a professional level. There is a time to be in that frame of mind. There is also the personal level.

The personal aspect I have in my life almost always relates to my business in one way or another. Being myself around my Clients and Customers is genuine. I'm not in Hollywood, on a movie set.

Me, Being me... and yes, I can be a Ham... it's fun and it creates smiles... :)

The importance of being REAL in my business allows others to see me, as me. Having an honest, open and sincere approach in anything I do, reflects on every other aspect of my life. If I'm not me, then who am I??? I like being me...

It's certainly good for business...

Amen and well said. I too am just like that... "what you see is what you get"! Not a lot of fluff and not a lot of suit and tie just jeans casual shirt and a lot of truth and knowledge and guess what... all my customers LOVE it and appreciate the honesty, advice and being real. There is NO other way I could do it.

Glad we are cut fromt he same cloth.

Richard ~ Thanks. I think it's easier to keep things in perspective and not try to be something I'm not. I build frienships and relationships (both personal and Business) with this in mind. Being the Real Deal is far more rewarding. Thanks for stopping in.

Hi Jon,

I'm questioning your statement..."I'm not in Hollywood, on a movie set." That picture looks like a movie set to me! But, keep in mind that my opinion may be a bit skewed, as I live in La La Land and anything that gorgeous is usually manufactured by set designers! ;-)

But, we do have our own beauty here...palm trees and beaches ain't all bad!
