The Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society needs your help. The shelter is the only ONE of its kind in Santa Fe County. Now it needs you to bark or meow your vote. Vote? Why? Our shelter has been selected by the ASPCA to compete for the $100,000 prize to be aware to the organization that is able to dramatically increase the number of animals saved in 2012. Many of us know the good works and efforts our Santa Fe Animal Shelter performs on behalf of our animals and with the generous volunteer time and money from our community.
However, our pets do not have access to computers, iPads, smartphones or tablets. They need us to vote on their behalf. It is really that simple. Everything you need to do is easy and below.
Your vote will save lives. The good news is you still have time to vote. You can vote for Santa Fe by clicking here or go to the main ASPCA site here. Unlike other elections, you can vote once per day and every day until April 16, 2012. Now just do it!
Santa Feans, let’s show the ASPCA by barking the vote, meowing the vote and reminding your ALL your pet friends everywhere to do the same. If you are on Twitter, tweet this link too http://bit.ly/IcHz0g
Why is voting so important? Before we can compete for the prize money, we have to show powerful community engagement by getting more votes than anyone else in our region. The competition is known as the 2012 ASPCA Rachel Ray $100K Challenge. Our Santa Fe Shelter is one of the 108 organizations in this competition. Our animals need your vote. Your vote will make a difference by saving a life.
If you are new to Santa Fe and want to volunteer, adopt a homeless animal, donate, help find lost pets or just find out more about this extraordinary place in our community where pets rule, just visit the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society Web site by clicking here.
