What do these dogs have in common? No, they aren't all mine - I may be crazy about dogs, but I'm not that crazy - although I do claim Buddy - the blue eyed dog as my own. These dogs were all adopted from shelters or could have easily ended up in shelters.
The Yonkers Animal Shelter has almost 90 dogs in residence right now and many do not have blankets to keep them warm. For Westchester residents who are reading this blog - if you have extra old blankets you are no longer using, could you drop them off at the drop off box at the A& P at 660 McClean Ave. Yonkers, NY from Dec.29th-Jan13th. Alternately, you can go to the shelter and drop them off there (120 Fullerton Ave - off Midland Ave.)
