There is always something happening in Palm Springs, and it is happening every single day. Just looking at the local newspaper the number of events and activities going on can make you dizzy and in Palm Springs, there is never a dull moment. Just look at some of these events coming up on the Famous Palm Springs Events Calendar in January and February 2008:
January:
Palm Springs International Film Festival, Palm Springs Dog Show Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf Tournament Southwest Arts Festival
February:
Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards Ceremony
Tour de Palm Springs
Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival
Palm Springs Modernism Week
Frank Sinatra Countrywide Celebrity Golf Invitational,
Black History Parade and Townfaire
And we are not even out of December yet, there are four large events going on at the end of this month, plus the big New Years bash every year. Palm Springs is only one of 8 desert cities here all strung together in the Coachella Valley, each one has a large list of events. Its sometimes more than a girl can handle. But, I am thankful for all the cool events, it brings in new buyers to the area from, well, from all over the world really.
You know for such a fun loving town with such great folks and a sense of community, well they sure know how to have a good time around here. The events are so much fun, the entire city comes alive, and perhaps that is what Palm Springs is most known for. The most popular all-year tourist city destination in the entire Riverside and San Bernardino Counties - I just love it here and I know you will too.
