The SMARTER SPACES TOUR 2012 for Austin, Texas will be held this weekend, Saturday, April 14 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Featuring 11 homes under 2,500 sq. ft. with varying architectural styles, the tour promises to demonstrate big designs for smaller spaces.  This is a great opportunity to see the work of area Architects, Builders, Designers and Space Planners and how they optimize the smaller urban spaces for convenient and substantial living.

Launch 787 and Modern Home Tours LLC are the founders of the event. Launch 787 is a large scale event production company based in Austin with brands like Austin Fashion Week, Sip & Savor Austin, Austin Modern Home Tour, Austin Outdoor Living and Secret Circus.  Modern Home Tours LLC has expanded Modern Home Tours into Houston, Denver, San Antonio and Dallas.  In 2012, MHT, LLC will run Modern Home Tours in 27 U.S. cities.

Advance tickets may be purchased through their website for $25. Tickets will get you into all of the tour properties on the day of the Tour and children under 12 are FREE. If you decide to go at the last minute, tickets will be $30 and can be purchased at any of the homes on tour.
