Playing at Baylor University
To what many sports enthusiasts may seem to be another, “women’s sports championship,” the Baylor Bears pulled through and have won the Women’s Basketball National Championship, which is no easy task. With a perfect, 40-0 season, they became the only men’s or women’s collegiate team to ever accomplish an undefeated season with a National Championship also. Although, this being the Lady Bears second National Championship, the fact that the team had zero losses, is a feat that many sports teams strive for but can rarely achieve. They have shown character and perseverance in all droughts and hard times. I congratulate you Lady Bears for a wonderful season. Well Done!
