A Beautiful Sunday at the Allison Inn & Spa
and a visit to the Wine Country for
our Wedding Anniversary
Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 was such a beautiful day and my husband and I went to the Allison Inn & Spa Resort to begin a celebration of our wedding anniversary.
The Allison, Oregon Wine Country's Premier Destination Resort, was our first stop for one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time.
We went early so we could just have breakfast and not Easter Brunch, we were not disappointed. Not only was our meal perfect, the service fabulous and the waiter attentive but the Pastry Chef put together a plate of scrumptious deserts with a beautiful message for us. We were treated with much honor.
The Allison opened about two years ago and is beautiful, with original paintings and artwork from local artists everywhere. The decor is not to be missed, they have not forgotten one thing when putting this beautiful resort together.
It is located on 35 acres and is on the outskirts of Newberg, Oregon entrenched in Oregon's Wine country. From what I have read the Allison is held in high esteem by the Travel Community.
From there we went into the wine country and visited a few wineries, Sokol Blosser being one of them. Perfect Day, perfect weather, beautiful countryside to explore once again and best of all a wonderful wedding anniversary.
