I compared three Northern Virginia zip codes on several criteria. Here’s what I turned up:
Clarendon (zip code 22201): 31% of the population is married. 51.25% of the population is male, 48.75% female. 58.27% of the residents have bachelor degrees or higher education. The median age is 32 years and the median household income is $86,552.
Kingstowne (zip code 22315): 46.29% of the population is married. 48.19% male, 51.81% female population. The median age is 35 and the median household income in Kingstowne is $97,965.
McLean (zip code 22101): 54.11% of the population is married. 48.05% male, 51.95% female population. Median age of 44 years old and median household income of $150,467 in McLean.
So, there are higher numbers of eligible bachelors in Clarendon than in Kingstowne, but if you’re looking for style, sophistication, and wealth, you might bypass Whitlow’s on Wilson in Clarendon and head for somewhere like the McLean Hilton.
