Take a hike Maui!




  Maui has a number of great hiking trails in a variety of environments around the island. Many of these hiking trails are easy and provide amazing views of natural wonders. Below is a short list of the easy and moderate hiking trails you may enjoy exploring.





The Plum Trail



Trail Length:      1.7 mi.


Activity:           Pedestrian


Difficulty:         Moderate


Terrain:               Forest


Elevation Gain:   600 ft


Park Name:    Polipoli Spring State Recreation Area


Trail begins at the old Civilian Conservation Corp. area and climbs gradually across the mountain through a planted forest of ash, redwood, sugi, and other species until it joins the Haleakala Ridge Trail. Numerous plum trees bearing fruit during the summer can be found along the trail.


From Kahului, take Highway 37 past Pukalani to the second junction of Highway 377. Turn left on 377 for about 0.3 mile, then right on Waipoli Road. This becomes Polipoli Access Road at the first cattle guard and climbs up the mountain through a long series of switchbacks until it enters the forest at 6,400` elevation, where the pavement ends.

   As most of you know, the majority of US home mortgages are insured by either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. So, when a home goes all the way through the foreclosure process, the lender it ends up with is often either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Do I have to use a special real estate agent?


No. You may work with any real estate sales professional to submit

an offer on our properties. However, Fannie Mae only accepts offers

through our real estate listing agents.


There’s just one more critical step before starting your search with Home Path: that’s talking to a lender and getting a pre-approval for financing. This is important with Home Path Homes. a loan once you have an accepted offer on a house.

I'm glad you found the information usefull. The HomePath loan is a great avenue for Buyers to purchase  Fannie Mae foreclosures with a small down payment, no mortgage insurance, and without an appriasial.
