Fotos on the Fly: Tarrytown Victorians & Blossoms….

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams NY Realty - 120 Bloomingdale Road #101, White Plains NY 10605

Over the past few months I’ve been working to improve my photographic skills.  So I will be posting more photos of Westchester.  As previously noted in post about the importance of the MLS listing –  good photography is like crack cocaine for home buyers, so I consider this to be an integral part of what I do for a living.

These were taking a few days ago on a beautiful but brisk spring day.  I was in Tarrytown NY – one of the prettiest villages in Westchester – if not the country.  Sometimes spring blossoms are just uplifting.  They give us a sense of renewal – of new beginnings.  They were an interesting backdrop to the Victorian homes that had seen many a spring renewal over the past century….

Just an FYI, I  have started working as a photographer.   Several agents have asked me to help them with their listing photos and slide shows, so the whole thing started somewhat by accident.  For anyone who would like to make use of this service, feel free to contact me by phone (914-374-5529) or email me at Ruthmarie.Hicks@gmail.com.

Hi Lori & Bruce - Thank you so much.  I've been trying to improve.  Granted I need to do more, but if you don't start somewhere- you will never undertake the journey.  Doing this for other agents just sort of "happened".

Ruthmarie -- I love the angles of these pics. Adds so much more interest than taking a property pic without any branches in front.  From where I am sitting right now, you are a 'little' bit ahead of me in the blooms and buds.  We should be in full bloom in another week or two if the weather warms up.  Keep up the great work!

Hi Ruthmarie, I love Victorians and am looking forward to more pictures! You captured its beauty in the first and the incredible detail in the second!

Much success with your new business! The things that just sort of happen are meant to be and usually work out the best!

Hi Rosemary - I'm still learning.  When I really have nailed down what truly works - I'll start posting how-to things.

Hi Miriam - In this market in particular - they are very valuable.

Hi Barbara - That's so nice of you to say! Thank you!

Hi Barbara A... The blooms will be there in no time! Enjoy them!

Hi Al & Cal - They are important.  People LOVE nice photos - particularly buyers.

Hi Debbie - Its a really pretty village. Its hard to take a bad shot with so much out there.

Hi Andrea - I still sell real estate - but I'm trying to break new ground.  Things are too slow around here for anything other than a multi-faceted attack.

Hi William - Thank you for stopping by. I'm really glad you liked them.  Your opinion means a lot.
