STAR POWER® is a real estate agent education organization. Agents can subscribe to their free scripts to deal with various sales situations. Many of the scripts are corny, but occasionally I find one that offers sound advice, such as this one to advise a seller not to go FSBO:

Good point Rod. I too find the Star Power scripts useful although I sometimes forget to log on and check them. I believe you can sign up to have them delivered via email.

John - my point was not that homes sold by Realtors sell for more (that is a statistic promoted by the National Association of Realtors. Here's a link). My point was to expect to get offers discounted by what the buyer perceives you are saving by not using a Realtor. You may break even compared to using a Realtor, or possibly worse depending on how much you spend on your own promotions.
