Grand Rapids Short Sale Agent Expert!! I think not!!!

Map of Michigan with a Pin I have been doing short sales a long time! Back when all the other agents were saying they would never do short sales in Grand Rapids Michigan, I was attending the school of hard knocks at the corner of Ouch and Slap. Let's just say my first year of attending "West Michigan School of Hard Knocks for Short Sales" left me bloodied and bruised. But I was still getting them through AND I was doing them on my own.

Fast forward to today. I no longer do them on my own--I have a whole team that helps me but it simply cracks me up that the Grand Rapids Agents who said, "I will never do a short sale" now tout themselves as "An Expert in West Michigan Short Sales". They don't have the bruises I do and the scars but I have learned a ton!!! I still wouldn't call myself an "expert". That word scares the tar out of me. There is always something new to learn when doing a Grand Rapids Short Sale. Ironically, I learn so many things along the way and a lot of it is from my clients as we travel the short sale road together to avoid foreclosure on the Grand Rapids Home.

So stay away from the "experts" and stick with those "experienced" agents who have been doing Grand Rapids Short Sales a long time!

Tami, it's great to read a new blog post from you. I agree that sometimes the word "expert" gets overused. Best to go with an experienced Grand Rapids short sale agent such as yourself who really knows the market inside out after years of extensive experience.
