She’s beautiful and smart, charming and loyal, gifted and talented, and a good person to call “friend.” Much like a 
diamond, a bright and sparkling diamond, her writing can light up an otherwise lackluster and routine day.
This weekend, she’s miles away near her home in Colorado Springs, but I’m celebrating a special day with her. It’s hard to believe we’ve never met in person, yet I consider her a great friend, 
and feel a powerful connection to her spirit.
We’ve laughed, cried and even shared frustrations via the telephone, emails and texts. I’m so happy that today she is celebrating her birthday with a grateful heart. In fact, it’s certain that she’s in her “happy place.”
Mimi, April showers may be known for bringing May flowers - but you are one of the most beautiful offerings from this wonderful Spring month. You are loved and admired by many, including your friends and family, which is the greatest gift of all.
