Pinterest is now the number three most-popular social network in the U.S., behind Facebook and Twitter, according to Experian Hitwise. A new report from the researcher shows Pinterest received 21.5 million visits during the week ending Jan. 28, a nearly 30-fold increase over a comparable weeks..
Ways to build your presence on pinterest
1. Create boards with keywords rich and some that are fun
2. Pin other peoples content 80% more of then than your own
3. Describe your boards in sentences, with key words placed logically
4. Comment on lots of other pins, including those not in a related topic to your own - the only criteria being the pin has to genuinely appeal to you.
5. Invite your clients to join you on pinterest
6. Reference you boards on your blog - link back and forth - A link from Pinterest is of high authority, a page rank of 6, which is a good thing.( you can embed a pin on your blog)- For an example below a silly pin called my style - and I have 70 followers - from doing nothing...

7. When people comment on one of your pins, comment back...Conversation is good...
8. Keep the quality of what you pin at a level of things you really like and are authentically interested in. For an example :
- Pin Your listings in say Barnegat
- Pin area photo's of Barnegat
- Pin Shopping experiences in Barnegat
- Pin Shore Area
9. Tell People what you like about the things that you pinned, filling out the description and add a hashtag where appropriate, e.g. #great house # great neighbor hood
10. In your themed boards, consider things that are unusual yet relevant #1 agency in the area etc.
11. Collaborate on board and/or invite others to pin on a similar topic to build great resources.
12 Add a $ to your description if you are selling property
