In Memory Of Deputy Sheriff Ryan Tvelia...Loved By Everyone
When one grieves we all grieve. One of our own has lost a family member tragically. As Active Rain members I encourage you all to extend condolences to our fellow Active Rain sister Barbara Todaro who has lost her son-in-law in a motorcycle accident in the line of duty. Her daughter and grandchildren have suffered tremendous loss.
Today, I’m writing this post with a very heavy heart. Tomorrow, I will be visiting, for the final time, the father of three of my teenage grandchildren. Deputy Sheriff Ryan Tvelia will be waked tomorrow and laid to rest on Wednesday. Ryan was only 42 years old.
On Tuesday, April 10, Ryan was on his way to serve as an honor guard at the funeral of another officer’s mother when he was involved in a motorcycle-vehicle accident. Ryan died at the scene as a result of the injuries he sustained in that accident. Ryan was in uniform on his department Harley Davidson.
My three teenage grandchildren are familiar faces to ActiveRain members. They are always in my family posts. My daughter, Tammy, and my grand-babies are devastated. Words cannot describe how much Ryan was loved; how he will be missed and the void that will be there forever.
