Ah, the Southern California life around your own private pool that you can enjoy year-round.

Having a Carlsbad home with your own private pool is a dream of many buyers moving into the area. And there are a good number of homes with pools for sale in Carlsbad. Right now there are more than 30 Carlsbad pool homes for sale ranging in price from about $430,000 to around $1.6 million.

Carlsbad Pool Homes for Sale - Homes for Sale with Pools in Carlsbad One other option is a Carlsbad master planned community that offers a private residents’ clubhouse with pool – there will be more details on these communities in another post, but Bressi Ranch, La Costa Greens, and La Costa Oaks come immediately to mind.

And many condo communities also offer a private pool for residents.

There are also Carlsbad homes for sale that have lots that are sufficiently large to build your own pool, depending on size and style.

And of course if the budget works you can buy a home with the biggest pool of all – an oceanfront Carlsbad home. Not exactly private but wow, what a view, and both condos and detached single family homes are found at the waterfront!

Jeff, I am sure that a must have for many is your own pool in Carlsbad CA...nothing like year round use of a wonderful amenity...here it is the garage for the heavy snow winters which we now hope are no longer part of our season (just on the mountains!).

Ginny - well it's interesting. Some absolutely want a pool, others are ok with a community, but some definitely do not want one at all (maintenance, insurance, etc.). But given our weather it is often on the list, as is being near the beach.

Kwee - I have had some buyers say they have one now and never use it so it is not on the list. Others are big swimmers, or the kids are, so it is a must have.

Gita - and our weather this week has been summer-like, so it's easy to think about having a pool and enjoying it.

Robert - and you have a big pool nearby too, don't you?! LOL

Sharon A. - thanks! Pools are a big deal and I'm glad there are plenty of homes to offer those buyers. So many lots in the new homes are simply not large enough, except,perhaps, for a lap pool.
