Thank you Miss L for your ethics.

Real Estate Agent with Transaction Realty 500 Reno, Nv.
About a year ago, I got a lead from a seller wanting to sell some vacant land about 30 miles from town.  I called and talked with owner, a nice 70 year old lady who had moved away and wanted to sell.  She was super nice, we had a couple of hour long conversations.  I realized that I needed help, we could talk forever about her kids and grandkids.  In our office there was a 70 year old realtor, Miss L.  I explained the situation to her and we agreed to split the listing.  We split everything (even the hour long conversations), all expenses and income.  We sold the lot in March.  In May, I changed real estate offices.  Today I received a phone call from Miss L.  First she wished me happy holidays, then she told me this story.  She received a phone call today from a gentlemen who stated that he was responding to the post card she had sent them.  As she hadn't sent any postcards recently, she didn't know what he was talking about.  It turned out to be our Just Sold postcard from March.  It also turns out that ours was the last lot to sell.  He has eight lots he wants to sell.  Miss L called me to try to figure out a way we can split this as we are now with different real estate companies.  Thank you Miss L for your ethics.

Matt.

Let me thank Miss L.

An honest, ethical agant is a blessing.  Generating good business is the easy part.  Finding good honest, echical agents to handle the business is the hard part.

Good luck.

I Sell Alaska!
It's supposed to be that way, but unfortunately, in most areas it isn't.  Miss L is welcome to relocate to my area, Alaska, any time she wants (although people usually leave Alaska around that age).

AMEN!  I wish all the agents in my office would be this ethical and honest!  I think that 90% of them probably would do the right thing!

Thats wonderful!  It's all about KARMA.  How refreshing to hear about such wonderful agents.  We too often hear the horror stories!
