The Town of Wake Forest, NC is holding the 3rd annual Great Grass Giveaway on April 28th!  Curious what this is?  If you live inside Wake Forest's corporate limits and currently have Fescue grass, you are eligable to participate.  This is all about converting the lawns of Wake Forest from Fescue to Bermuda grass (the more sustainable choice for the local climate).  For details see the Wake Forest, NC website.

What a great concept!  Your area is really on the cutting edge.  After I read your blog a few days ago about the shredding day, I saw a commercial on TV about a community close to where we are that was doing the same thing.  Love it!

Another great market report.  I like how you have combined it with the information on the Great Grass Give Away.    

The Great Grass Giveway sounds like a wonderful, environmentally friendly program.  A lot of people had bermuda lawns in Texas.  It's a hardy grass that doesn't require as much water as some other varieties.
