For the past few months I have been working hard on revamping the company's web presence. Our company page, jphilip.com, was an old template site and the 2005 design was no longer up to par. We went with Kunversion, and are beyond excited about the results. More on that another time.
Since 2008, I have always imported my Active Rain content to an AR outside blog at WestchesterRealEstateBlog.NET. Earlier this year, I decided to import all of my content to a Wordpress platform instead of the AR outside blog so I could intergrate a home search and more features for consumers. After literally months of studying some outstanding professionals, I decided to hire Virtual Results to do the job. I have to say that I am incredibly pleased with the result. The site has all of my blog content, a robust home search, Altos research for select markets, and a design I feel very good about. Here's a screen shot:

The only bummer is the site will not automatically pull my blog posts and comments from Active Rain anymore, so Active Rain will no longer be the primary place for my words. I will still post here, but the bulk of my original content will be exclusively on my own self hosted site at WestchesterRealEstateBlog.NET. My latest post,
is live. Please stop by from time to time if you don't see me here for a day or two, and also please be clear that this is not farewell- not by a long shot. Active Rain has been incredbly good to me, and I will always support their work and be grateful for all the community has done for my business. This is the pre eminent social network for real estate professionals, and I can't think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from being there.
