Take Imperfect Action!

Three of us from my Internet marketing company attended a conference this past weekend, and it was a great experience for us.

For me, the main takeaway from the conference was this:

Take Imperfect Action. (If you don't, someone else will.)

This is not a new concept to me, but it is a constant battle. Paralysis by analysis? Oh, yeah, I can do that with the best of them. :-) But I talked with so many people who were having great success, and I could see flaws in what they were doing...hmmm.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't about throwing a bunch of mud at the wall. I could never function without striving for excellence, without taking pride in my work.

But everything doesn't have to be perfect. Perfection is an impractical and unnecessary standard.

Here is my imperfect press release, about our attendance at the marketing, social media and SEO conference.

There now, that could have been better, but it didn't hurt too much...

So, go take massive imperfect action today! The little things that could have been done better will be far overshadowed by the successes you will achieve.

Who's with me?

Good morning Fritz,

Yes, sometimes it makes sense to run with idea without having a full complete plan.  And everything comes together along the way.  Best of success to you this year!

Good point, Frtiz.  Take action... the corrections of making things better will occur with the right practice.
