It's bad enough to get unsolicited, recorded, spammy phone calls around 5:30 most days. Now at 11:30 on a Saturday morning! Don't these machines need any time off?
At any rate, I had to agree with the opening salvo. Then I hung up.
The message was that I should never have to pay for a sales lead again - except presumably from them.
The truth is that we should not pay for any sales leads. They are totally free for the asking. We just have to be in the right place to ask properly for them.
I have written 6 books on this subject - 2 for new home salespeople and home builders, 2 for Realtors and brokers, and 2 for aging in place and contracting services. One of the books in each series is for developing our network or sphere of influence to get customers from people that we already know in some way (including online). The other is for developing relationships with total strangers or people known to us by sight or reputation that we make it a point to meet.
Through a series of strategies, meeting scenarios, telephone scripts, and written communication templates, I guide anyone who wants it through the process of developing as many leads as we can handle - on a continuous basis.
Anyone who want more leads or wants the independence and empowerment of generating your own leads - and doesn't want to pay anyone to provide this - should check out my books on my website or Amazon.
