It’s Raining! It’s Raining!
I have never been one to display an immense amount of emotion, except when I am by myself. However, I am grateful this dark evening in Lititz, PA. We are receiving some very much needed rainfall. It has been dry, but right now the wind is blowing and the rain is falling.
This has caused me to reflect on how much is beyond my control. I cannot make it rain. The ability to accept what is, is in fact a gift from God. I cannot allow the realities of life to overcome me, creating anxiety and fear. The rain is coming and I give thanks.
God provided during last year’s floods and God will provide during dry seasons as well.
I guess that is why they call it April Showers, just it your case it went a little beyond.
super! send a little to west palm beach too, we had a touch of it last night in previews to our summer deluge which should be on its way.. boat ready yet?
Glad you are getting some rain... hope it cools and quenches. Happy Sunday! K
Glad you got some rain Cal. It's been dry down here as well and we've had a little this weekend also.
We are also receiving some much needed rain in Maryland. The April showers will bring spring flowers.
Have an outstanding week, with your camera in hand.
Cal - I had to look twice but that is the same bridge in your post, with all that water, that graces the background of your blog is it not
Cal,
I'm happy for you! Our weather here in Texas has been unusual too. We really didn't have a winter. But butterflies - WOW! The air is filled with butterflies! Nature is always there for us, rain and shine, it brings out the best of things. Mother Nature knows best.
I hope you kept adequate rain and a very enjoyable spring and summer. With your positive spirit, things are always in control.
Have a good time in the RAIN!
Patricia
Thanks for so many comments from friends. The picture from the floods of last year is the same picture which graces my blog site. Interesting how rain and water changes the appearance, hey. It has been cool and rainy and will keep my grass growing for at least a month. Be well all my friends.
Cal
No control over the weather or other things outside my scope but good at creating a plan based on results. The best to you Cal!
I am so happy too - no more worries about fires, crops and wells drying up!
