New York City Prices....

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Five Corners Properties

I find it interesting that agents all around the United States have an interest in what New York City average prices are so I compiled some data and present the following snapshot!  1st Q 2012

Manhattan Condo

Listing Prices

Average Size      Price Per Square Feet      Average Price

Studio          550                    1,100                          $ 600,000

1 Bedroom    775                    1,125                          $ 875,000

2 Bedroom    1,300                 1,275                          $ 1,700,000

3 Bedroom    1,950                 1,500                          $ 3,000,000

4 Bedroom    3,200                 1,675                          $5,400,000

Great numbers, how does this compare to your local market?

Have a great day!

HI Jonathan, these are some average prices and for sure depending on the exposure, location and condition of the apartment, the price per square foot and overall price can be higher as well.

Hi Jonathan,  In Texas you get a lot more bang for your buck so when you come from the East & West Coasts you are pleasantly surprised on what you can afford.  The opposite can be quite a shock.
