Just finished watching the great southern movie "Fried Green Tomatoes", a wonderful heartfelt movie that I can watch it over and over. If you have not seen this movie you don't know what you are missing. Well, I don't know if the men would think so...but for the women it is a downhome southern movie.

I have never read the book, but I am sure it is better than the movie. "Fried Green Tomatoes" brings laughter, tears, and tells about good friends. Myself I am from a small rural town called Woodville,AL  and I love "Fried Green Tomatoes"!Go check out historical Woodville, AL http://bellsouthpwp2.net/p/u/publicw/  How many people would like to go to the Whistlestop Cafe and sit down and have an order of "Fried Green Tomatoes"?

That is one of the few movies that have ever made me shed a tear............that and Beaches.............. :)

(yes, I'm comfortable enough to admit that those two movies get me choked up, and for that reason, I refuse to watch them anymore when my wife stops on them if they are on :) )

Hi Kim, your title caught my eye since that is my favorite movie.  I think it's time for me to get out the old VCR and watch again. Oh, no, and Beaches too.  I guess I'm not going to get much done today
