Wordless Wednesday-Are You My Mother?

Alley Cat-Are You My Mother

Glanced over last night and found Alley Cat staring intently at this poster in my living room. I wondered if she was thinking; are you my mother or perhaps take me to our leader?

Alley is a rescue and rarely seems to sleep which has earned her the nickname "crack kitty."   At least this time she sat still long enough for me to grab my phone and snap a picture.

Cindy,

Sometimes I have to wonder what's going through an animal's mind when they're doing something like that. Kind of reminds me of the Sopranos episode where the cat would stare at the picture of the guy that was killed.

Amazing Alley Cat stayed...of course was probably admiring those big paws in the poster!

Cindy~ I had a black and white tuxedo kitty a number of years ago.  His name was FRED.  He was a real lady's man.  I miss him.  Sniff, sniff.  Those soft, furry guys just wiggle their way in to your heart.  :-)

You do have to wonder what he's thinking. My kitty is cross at me at the moment - I just shooed her off my desk for about the 25th time today. NO kitty, you CANNOT have my lunch!

Cindy -  They were probably plotting on taking over the entire house.   I'm guess that maybe you kitty has already done that though.   Cute picture.

Great photo to catch, Cindy.  Don't you wish a little bubble would pop up above their heads so you could see there thoughts?  I always wonder.

Donna-Alley is a nut case.  But have to love her anyway.  She hasn't settled down enough from her free roaming days on the streets to be a cuddle cat yet but she does now purr and like to be scratched.

Mike-it would be helpful to have a clue what they are thinking other than where's my dinner.

Ha, Cindy, I have a smaller version of that poster - I think the black cat was the attraction...although I've never seen (or caught) our black kitties checking it out! :-)

Hella-hadn't thought of a cat as an art ciritic or lover but since we have no idea what they are thinking they could be.
