What a shift, but what a good shift for somebody with great courage and wisdom. We had a newly licensed realtor join Chris Balmes Properties yesterday and when we met for coffee to sign her forms so that she could drive to Salem to activate her license, I asked if she was really excited and she said yes, she really was. But, she said it was really funny because when she told her friends that she was going to sell real estate they all gave her funny looks and went "ohhhhhhhhhhhh", like there was a death warrant being signed for her. She said she tells them "that is not what I am hearing" and we started talking all about her creative ideas and her enthusiasm to put those ideas into action. That's what we all need to remember - it's a new day and a new year and a time to practice some new ideas! She is going to do great and so are are all of us who maintain an attitude like that! Happy New Years!!
