This past week we were privileged to be part of a miracle healing. One of our amazing worship leaders from our church was struck down with a serious sudden illness. Her name is Tiffany Aitken and along with her husband Jon, they lead worship a few times a month at our church, Life Center. She is a young mother of 3 beautiful children and last Monday she was feeling really poorly.
*When taken in for examination she was ordered directly to the hospital and diagnosed with what we first heard to be a blood clot in a lung and later turned out to be one in each lung. This is a life threatening problem and extremely serious. We, along with many others in our church were alerted about it and asked to pray. She went into cardiac arrest twice and was revived. She went for emergency surgery and Jon was told after the surgery that only 1 in 500,000 patients have survived this surgery. In all, the count was 4 times they thought she was gone and 4 times she came back.
We know Tiffany, she was a wonderful mentor for our youngest daughter, Jess, when she was learning to lead worship. She has an incredible voice and is a very talented song writer as well. (Please check out- We Honor You- Jon and Tiffany Aitken on iTunes)
The doctors have been totally amazed at her recovery, she is home now and recovering well. She has some memory loss but other than that appears to be on the mend quite well. Please pray for continued recovery and protection from any further attacks on her or her family. The doctors have been so amazed that they have been sending pictures and scans of these clots to colleagues all over the country. Our God is a very big God and can do exceedingly more than we can ever imagine. SHABA! To God goes all the glory. The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead is alive in us! Thank you for taking a moment and praying for her. Please take a few minutes to listen to one of their songs from the CD- We Honor You. I promise that you will be ushered to the throne of Jesus in an instant.
*I'm not sure of the exact details but this is what we heard.
