In the dynamic field of health, it is always beneficial to stay informed. One good thing on which to educate oneself is high blood pressure, or hypertension. Blood pressure is a measurement of the force against the walls of your arteries as the heart pumps blood through the body. Be educated further on the risks of high blood pressure through a resource class for seniors offered through the Cary Senior Center in the Town of Cary. Join local health experts as they explore health issues and answer questions provided voluntarily by guests during interactive lecture programs. In this course, participants will learn the causes of high blood pressure and how to change or lower these risks.
This lecture will be offered on Thursday, April 26th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in Classroom 302 of the center. It is presented by Comfort Keepers.
The Cary Senior Center is located at 120 Maury O’Dell Place within Fred G. Bond Metro Park, near the intersection of NW Cary Parkway and NW Maynard Road.
