It’s Friday again and time to think about a fun place to eat out this weekend in Austin. Depending on what you are in the mood for there is something for everyone! How about BBQ this weekend?

You heard right, however you better get there early and plan to take it home for an evening gathering. “Say what?”...you heard me..they open at 11am and stay open until the sign goes up “SOLD OUT” which is usually by 1 pm. Another East Austin favorite has emerged. This dark hideaway has been transformed into a celebration of smell and taste! Homemade picnic tables, a fresh coat of paint, a handcrafted smoker and coloring book paintings of menu choices attracts patrons in search of good grub! Stubbs became the heart of the explosive music scene in the 1970’s. Definitely the place to be for musicians like Joe Ely, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Linda Ronstadt....just to name a few! You have to experience the ambiance of Stubb’s...have a cold beer,meet some friends...listen to live music and eat some great BBQ!
