This story should probably be more appropriately titled "Amazing Story." Steven Thorpe from Warwickshire, England was declared brain dead after a car accident. His doctors recommended that his parents pull the plug, and even recommended donating his organs.
His father pushed for yet another opinion, this time from a private doctor, Julia Piper, who was able to detect some very slight brain waves, and said there was a slim chance of recovery. The hospital brought Steven out of his chemically induced coma, and amazingly he started to recover. He left the hospital 7 weeks after being brought out of the coma; now that's pretty AWESOME!
