Make every day an Arbor Day!
National Arbor Day is today! Today is a great opportunity to give back to the community for years to come! There are many ways to celebrate this historical holiday and contribute. This 135 year old holiday isn’t always given the recognition and importance it deserves. In order to conserve and maintain our beautiful green earth we should all plant a tree! It is not only an act of kindness and good citizenship… it is also a great way to spend this lovely spring day investing in our future for generations to come. Most Colorado residents have a passion for conserving, Arbor Day can even be a day to just enjoy nature and educate ourselves on what other ways to conserve resources and insure our families an Arbor Day as gorgeous as today. We don’t all have the time to plant a tree today, but there are several ways to celebrate our green earth give back to our communities daily. Arbor Day should not only be a celebration but should be considered a new beginning and reminder to start doing our part now taking part in this tradition.
For the last 38 years, Arbor Day has been an inspiration for many. This is a special day to get out there and give our thanks by hugging a tree in our own special way. Trees are a staple in so many parts of our lives providing many of the needs for everyday life from food to shelter. Trees are not only a necessity but an integral part of our survival as a whole. To simply just plant a tree is a great way to celebrate and devote our time to today. A reminder that tomorrow is always another way to show our love for life and our future! It’s never too late to contribute! We hope you will all take today as a note to go green whenever possible. So get out there and enjoy today giving thanks in our own little ways from recycling to educating our children on Arbor Day. We can all contribute in many ways.
