The Silent Sound!

Bogue Sound at Sunset

Last night, we had a dozen children (under the age of 11 years) at Saint Francis by the Sea.  We were to plan our summer activities, enjoy some pizza & ice cream, walk the labyrinth, and then we all decided to walk the trail to the situm at Bogue Sound.  

As we approached the situm, time stood still and although, a dozen children were running around, laughing and having a great time, all I heard was silence as I stopped and enjoyed the beautiful moment!

Amy~ That looks so peaceful.  I could use some peace and quiet and little bit of relaxation.  Guess I really just need to come for a visit!  Maybe next year......I'll keep dreaming in the meantime.

AMy-  how lovely.... that was lovely... please forgive me but when you talked about the silent sounds, and children under the age ot 11, I was imagining the silent sound but the deafening smell... LOL Gay

There's something very peaceful about being around the water.  As you mentioned, it allows you to shut out the noise of the world around you, and most of the problems as well.  Thanks for sharing a beautiful moment.
