Everything we purchase is marketed aka “staged” to grab our attention, create desirability persuading us to buy a particular product. For example department stores hire design experts to stage window fronts to get you in the door where you find manikins adorned in the latest fashions all tailored to get you to buy their products……and it works.  

You may not be aware, but we stage ourselves everyday

Whether we’re going to work, on a date, a job interview, black tie event, a party, a wedding, a funeral, ect., to some degree we stage ourselves every day.

Donna,  How a home shows ... and smells, is crucial to getting a home sold.  This is a great re-blog.  Home sellers need to understand that buyers "feel" and the decision to buy a home is an emotional one.

Thank you Kristine!  There's no mystery to selling your home for its highest value, but it does take a strong TEAM!

Kathleen~ It all matters.  Curb appeal is the first step.  Does the buyer even want to go inside?  Smell is a huge deciding factor.  Allergies will play in to that as well.  Does the seller smoke or have pets?  Buying a home IS an emotional decision and buyers need to feel "connected".  Home staging often accomplishes this.

Tom~ The investment in home staging is worth the savings in the final price of the home sale!
