Get ready, set go!
St. Michael and Albertville are teaming up once again to present Spring Clean-Up Day, set to run from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5 at the St. Michael Public Works building. The event will be held regardless of the weather.
Dropoff is for St. Michael and Albertville residents only. Electronics ARE accepted, but should be kept separate.
Items (charge/cost in parentheses) accepted include:
-Tries/wheels (depends on size)
-Flourescent bulbs ($1)
-Grills ($2)
-Propane tanks-cap off, hole drilled ($5)
-Computers, VCRs, DVD players, stereos, printers, copiers ($5)
-Appliances ($10)-no gas or ammonia refrigerators please
-Upholstered chairs ($10)
-Televisions, monitors and laptops ($10)
-Couches ($20)
-Mattresses and box springs ($15 each)
-Recliners ($20)
-Hide-a beds ($30)
-Miscellaneous junk: small pickup load ($40) or large ($60)
Staff from St. Michael and Albertville will be on hand to check identification. No hazardous items such as paint, stains, etc. will be accepted. No contractors, please.
So, come ready with ID and get your house, garage and yard cleaned up for spring and summer! From experience, I know that this is a very popular event, so come early because their will be a long line!
