The City of Seminole in Florida, has so much to offer, surrounded by the beauty of the Gulf Beaches, good shopping, and with a host of restaurants and bars the City of Seminole is a great place to live.
Just a few minutes away the white sandy beaches of Madeira Beach, Reddington and Indian Shores offer beach walks and glorious sunsets.
If boating is your thing the City of Seminole is surrounded with opportunities to take to the water, both Seminole Lake Park and the VA Memorial Park on Bay Pines Blvd have public boat ramps. Bay Pines Marina will look after your boat or you can join the local boat club if you prefer to just dabble from time to time.
Another popular spot around Seminole is Walsingham Park, a great place for fishing, and a little daily activity, apparently around 700,000 people, a year, visit this park to enjoy hiking, jogging, cycling, a 6 mile trail, a 10-station fitness area and not to mention the wild life, I snapped this fellow while walking at the weekend.
Shopping is fabulous at the close by Tyrone Mall, with all the big names in fashion and accessories for both guys and gals, get your hair cut or maybe a manicure, make the most of a day out and spoil yourself.
When its time to eat there is so much to choose from in and around Seminole, The Sports Bar and Grill on Bay Pines Blvd has just been voted best sports bar by local residents, offering an extensive casual menu, 50c wings on Fridays is always a favourite. Fuji Yama on Starkey Rd never disappoints serving Thai Food and probably the best sushi I have ever eaten. Neither of these will stretch the budget and I’m sure you won’t be sorry you gave them a try.
