Collin County Real Estate Market Update
March 2011 vs. March 2012
Collin County saw a 2.3% increase in listings during the 1st Quarter of 2012. The increase in actual Closed Sales (reported) was 12.3% increase, and the projected sales were up 18%. Additionally, in March 2011 there was a 5.8 month supply of available homes for sale but in March 2012 we only saw a 3.8 month supply. The market has definitely made some improvement overall so far this year. It’s officially a “Seller’s Market” in Collin County.
If the real estate market in Collin County continues this trend, 2012 will be a year that we see increased sales prices in our area.
