Google Search Results: When you Google your name, what comes up? For some people it’s Facebook, for others their blog, and for others LinkedIn. According to LinkedIn news, LinkedIn is Google’s preferred result when it comes to people searches. You never know who might be searching for you, or who will stumble across you if you share the same name with someone who is being searched – so make sure your profile is completely up-to-date at all times. It’s very likely that your clients and potential clients will be Googling you, and you want to make a good impression.
Is Your Profile Complete? Employers are constantly searching the LinkedIn interface for new employees. Don’t miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime by neglecting your profile. Even if you plan on staying put at your current position until the end of time, it’s never a bad idea to keep your profile complete and up-to-date with your complete work history, skills and education.
