HI, Debbie!
I am new to this blogging so please bear with me! I completed the E-Pro Certification in December and I am a member of the EPROTalk and RealTown Communites.
As to Peak Performance; no, my office NNMRE was not a test office. We are signed up to be one of the first offices to start in 2008.
My administrative assistants are the ones who work with Realtime, 2KPlus (I call it Y2K!), etc. We are doing double entries because we keep our stats, etc. differently. The are definitely ready to jettison the old program!
Also, I am implementing RELAY, the on-line transaction program endorsed by NAR. I hope to have this up and running by the end of January.
I'm ready to see the Peak Performance program because I NEED to implement a BackOffice Software platform. I am looking at Lucero since it is supposed to be what Peak Performance is based on.
As to the UC Website- it is essential that your COPY be SEO friendly- it's not just based on listings. The search bots look at how the content is presented. I suggest you hire a SEO professional to write your COPY and have them work with the home office. Plus, you can add an IDX solution to your site which may help with your rankings.
Also, check your links-be sure they are all operational and relative to your real estate market. You could also add a link to your Active Rain blog!
With all that said, NNMRE invested in a new, custom designed site (by me!) which should be live any day. I'll pass along the address when it is operation. I hired a small firm in Florida to implement my design and and SEO person to re-write my copy. The Home Office was extremelycooperative with me in providing content. I'll keep you posted on the results.
Our business is 35% off in dollar volume from last year but over 50% in transactions! When buyers were dropping from heaven, I believe my associates didn't not follow through on the confidentials. Starting in January, my managing broker will be initiating contact with all our confidentials - WITH A PHONE CALL if they provided one! Then we will EMAIL our site(s) that has all the area information. She will also qualify them as to their wants and needs PRIOR to assigning them to an associate (we do not refer to ourselves as agents).
I truly believe our marketing and contact will be mostly email. We have a branded email program and I am starting an ezine this quarter. Consistently contacting your database (and qualified cofidentials) is ESSENTIAL.
I hope this helps! And I expect to meet you at Kansas City. I have to hand over the #1 trophy to Grand Junction. However, I might pass it around the dinner for contributions towards my operating budget first!
Best Regards,
Suze
