You Can Help Shape Hood River County School District's Future!
There is nothing more important to a strong, healthy community than its school district. Over recent years, the Hood River Valley has grown by leaps and bounds, resulting in challenges and questions on the direction its schools will take.
Hood River County School District is engaging in a strategic planning process to shape and guide the school district through the year 2025. The Strategic Planning process is a powerful opportunity to involve everyone from our community in building a long-term vision for our public schools.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
Attend one of the following community forums, which will be held in English and Spanish. This is your chance to hear the current plans and be able to voice your opinions, suggestions and concerns. Free babysitting will be provided. Surveys will be available in English and Spanish.
o May 15th, at 6:00 p.m. at Mid Valley Elementary School
o May 16th, at 6:00 p.m. at Wy’east Middle School
o May 17th, at 6:00 p.m. at Hood River Middle School
o May 19th, at 1:00 p.m. at Cascade Locks School
