An Accident That Could Have Been Much Worse

Real Estate Agent with Classic Realty Realtor

Many of my friends know that over the past few years, I've taken off about 52 pounds. I've done this through a change in lifestyle when it comes to eating and exercise.

I had an interesting experience yesterday that could have been disasterous while exercising. I was doing my Aerobic Walking and my left foot stepped on the shoelace of my right foot. I was indoors and you guessed it, I fell and I mean, I fell hard! When I tumbled I hit a small table and the laptop computer went off the table and on to the floor. (It survived)

Why am I writing this?
Simple...... While I have a few aches and pains, I have no visible scars but it could have been much worse. I knew my shoelaces were too long and always double knotted them, but this time I had forgotten and as a result - I fell!

So my words for today are: Check those shoelaces!!!! Perhaps you need to change them to a shorter version! Make sure what happened to me never happens to you...

Quite frankly, this was an accident that could have been much worse!

You are so right. It always amazes me how fast an accident can happen and sometimes just over the slightest lack of focus or the smallest oversight.  I'm glad you were alright.

Some of the time we just do not take the time to do what is right.

Shorten those laces is right. Double knots are a must with those long laces.

The older we get, the more risk we have for falls.  Good reminder for all of us to be very careful.  A single fall can be a live changing event.

Have an outstanding weekend, with your camera in hand.
