The event takes place on the Derby Lawn. Proceeds benefit Homeward Bound, which provides housing and services for families with children who are homeless or fleeing domestic violence. The Kiwi Dash, a muddy, obstacle-filled 5K, kicks off at 9:30 a.m. followed by an all-day after-party. "Blues," the Slap the Gator Musicfest, is a music event featuring seven live bands, including headliner the Delgado Brothers. "Bruise," a Muay Thai mixed martial arts "Redemption 2" competition, is a four-series fight where winners from each event go on to compete at the grand finale during the Live Life Expo in February 2013. Barbecue items are available from 65 vendors, and beer gardens and wine tastings are offered. An Exotica Body Art body-painting competition is also featured, plus a motorcycle competition with prizes for best bike, best custom, hottest rider and coolest tattoo.
