Here in the Antelope Valley, Palmdale and Lancaster we are somewhat of an isolated area within the county of Los Angeles we hit the bottom late 2008 where you could pick up a 3+2 1,300 sqft for under 50 grand.  In 2010 comps show under-50-grand homes are pushing 90 grand in now.  More tomorrow.

Regarding the numbers today total numberr of homes for sale on our local MLS is reaching the all time low of 700, we are just above 1,000 units.
