Take Control of Your Circumstances

Motivational Power Quote

Take Control of Your Circumstances

“We can let circumstances rule us or we can take charge

and rule our lives from within.”

Earl Nightingale 1921 – 1989, Dean of Professional Development

As I see it . . . . . . .

Take control of your circumstances

Throughout our lives our circumstances change many will have a positive impact on our lives and careers. They will become the foundation for our success and become a driver for our success journey.

At other times we will encounter shifting circumstances that can bring hurricane force winds and destruction into our lives. The deeper that we have put down our roots the more we can weather the ill winds of negative circumstances coming into our lives.

We have to have deep roots in our faith and believe in our self to stand strong in the face of hurricane force winds.

We may not be able to control the circumstances that come into our life. But we can control our attitude, our emotions and how we respond to the circumstances.

Stand strong in the face of the ill winds and have the resolve to do your best to find and implement the best solutions possible in light of the circumstances that you find yourself in.

Take control of your circumstances and you take control of your pathway to success.

Lou, the other day we watched the 1946 movie, "The Yearling".   These pioneer dirt farmers had 6 days of rain ruin their crops, neighbors stole their hogs, the father was bit by a rattlesnake, and "the Yearling" decimated their corn and tobacco crops.  But every time a tragedy occurred, the father (played by Gregory Peck) would tell his son, "we still have our lives, we have to pick up and continue onward".

 Nice post, Lou.   Thank you.
