An agent from another state called me several days ago about a possible referral. During our conversation, I was amazed at how much she knew about me and my real estate business. But I shouldn't have been because we market ourselves in such an open and wide ranging way through the Internet. And she had done a very comprehensive search that netted her information from the various websites that I have, plus the many Activerain blogs I have written.
Frankly, I thought no more about it because she told me she was interviewing several real estate professionals for the referral. This morning she called back, telling me that she had recommended me to her client.
This is not my first referral, of course, but each time I am grateful that another professional puts their trust in me. And, once again, I feel an obligation to not only do my very best for this new client, but also the referring agent for putting her trust in me.
