Overrated and Underrated. May 5, 2012
Overrated - Cheap, generic pizza. Little Caesars has a $5 pizza, ready and waiting for you to crush. Have a sandwich instead.
Underrated - Joe Rogan. Yeah, the Fear Factor guy. Believe it or not, he's changed my thinking. Check out his podcast on iTunes or through his website, www.JoeRogan.net
Joe Rogan's show on Sirius XM is at times down right psychedelic. He's definitely out there...a little too far for me sometimes, but definitely entertaining.
Eric, Tried the "new and improved" Domino's this time for the first time in probably over a decade. Wasn't too bad, but still not top of the list for our preferred pizza places.
I make a pizza that would knock your socks off... lots of fresh veggies. and I do not like that foul mouthed man at ALL.
Joe is very opinionated and having watched him for years as a host of MMA fights he is actually very intelligent. Most people just don't know him for that, but they should listen to find out the real Joe.

I actually think it should be considered false advertising when you call something "pizza" that you can get for $5 in a drive through.

Chris Ann, I haven't heard his show on Sirius XM, I always thought it was the same thing I hear listening to his podcast. I'll have to look into that.

BLiz, I haven't had Domino's in probably a decade, either. With your "recommendation," I'll continue to avoid it.

Eric- I am very open minded. And among friends I can let the off colored words fly. I just believe that what we put forth in public should be something we don't mind our children seeing. And when you put things on youtube and make them public... that is public. And I'm sure he would be funny without the language that you wouldn't want your daughters to hear, right?
Tammy, I agree, to a point. By the time my daughters are allowed to watch youtube videos without parental supervision, they'll have already watched stuff like this. My kids have heard me say most of those words in one form or another. Right, wrong, or in different, it's the way life is sometimes. Are they allowed to swear? Hell no! (see what I did there?) I'm an adult, and if I don't like the words someone is using, I can either change the channel or ignore the fact that they're using those words.
Rogan does a hell of a job with the UFC as commentator.
As far as his stand-up comedy, I'd rather listen to Alan May sing show-tunes.
Jason, his stand-up is alright, but I really like his thinking on a lot of things. The podcast is awesome.

I recall watching one stand-up show and it was awful. I like the F-Bomb just as much as the next sailor, but it became just annoying and rather uncreative. George Carlin on the other hand ...
but I have no doubt that Rogan is a smart dude.
