We replaced our front door to our home not long ago. This time we chose a great red color. It is so stunning and inviting when you arrive at home. It is a pleasure to walk towards the door and open it. In Feng Shui your front door is very important and for good reason. It is the invitation into your home so even if you are not selling your home, changing, updating or painting your front door will create great energy in and around your home.
After we changed out our door and chose the red color we noticed some of our neighbors also choosing the red doors:)

Oak is dated and an oak front door is like gray hair on your house.
Paint the front door! It really doesn't matter whether you go vibrant or play it safe, or whether you choose a color based on Feng Shui or fashion trends.

chances are the hardware also needs updating.
You don't have to buy new - we spray painted the existing door handle with great results.
