I Guess I Can't Take Down My Christmas Wreath NOW!

Real Estate Agent with Prudential CT Realty

I admit it. I still have my Christmas wreath up. In all fairness, it doesn't look like a Christmas wreath--there is no red bow, just a few pine cones. But still, I should have taken it down a while ago.

But today I was doing yardwork, sprucing up the yard for spring (I do some things at the right time!), and I noticed that a little bird flew out of my wreath. A closer look showed me this:

Oh wow,, what a sweet thing to find.  The wreath signifies a the strength of the pine that can survive through the harshest winters and the cyclical nature of life.

That is great Peggy.  I would call it your "Mothers Day" Wreath.  How appropriate don't you think?  New babies will soon be born to a mother bird.

Peggy good thing you did not take the wreath down, because you would not have experience that sight.

Peggy, that certainly shows that you need to keep it with a potential drop down mid June

Hi Peggy,

Congrats for your new little family that is about to arrive. Please take pictures of them after they hatch. I hear it is good luck to have a birds nest in your trees, bushes or.....wreaths. Cute little eggs!

That is really neat. That is what you call getting the most out of your wreath. Things seem to worked out the right way.

Thank you for sharing the photo with all of us.

Peggy - that's wonderful. Maybe you should just rename it the Spring wreath. I had to chuckle at the title because I forgot to take down my Merry Christmas sign in my living room. It's still there.
