Seriously. Do you feel proud of the effort you put forth and he results you receive?
Are you proud of the effort you are putting into your business? What about the effort you put into your business last week?
Aristotle identified pride as the crown of the virtues, distinguishing it from vanity, temperance, and humility. Pride is a high sense of one's personal accomplishments or the specific mostly positive emotion that is a product of praise or independent self-reflection.
I can usually tell when I am working with a real estate professional who takes pride in their work. They strive to do the best job they can possibly do and then look for ways to do it a little better. Agents who take pride in their work are results oriented. They are focused on fixing problems not fixing blame. Does this sound like you?
Philosophers and social psychologists have noted that pride is a complex secondary emotion which requires the development of a sense of self and the ability to feel happiness and joy from one's own accomplishments. You might say pride is "the love of one's own excellence". Does that sound bad? Love of one's own excellence? Haven't we always been taught to "just try your best" or "do the best job you can do"? Isn't that teaching us to love one's own excellence?
My dad taught me that every job I did was going to carry my signature so I should be proud of any job I sign my name to. I thank him every day for that advice.
Think about pride is this way. Pride is:
Pleasure from a job well done.
Respect myself.
Improve myself
Dignity (A feeling of inner worthiness.)
Effort.
So, I ask you again...Do you take pride in your work?
All Star Coaching thought for today: If a job is important enough to do it's important enough to do right!
Have a productive day and take pride in whatever you do.

Pride actually has two connotations. Now I agree with what you wrote. But, interestingly, it also carries the opposite connotation which is a negative.
So, just do it.
