The Choice to Move Forward

So I'm not perfect.  Kind of a bummer as I always thought I was.  But, seriously, since I'm reminded almost daily of my faults and the fact that I'm just not as perfect as I thought I was, my memo to myself today, and every Monday, is that today is another fresh start.

Frustrations occur when we get sidetracked from all of our goals.  I have a lot of goals and when I set my goals, I make them massive.  This way, even if I fall short, I'm still light years ahead of how I planned them.  In any event....falling short does lead to some frustration.  For me, I need to remind myself, that I'm still further along that I was prior to setting my BHAG (or Big Hairy Audacious Goals).

How's your Monday?   Down in the dumps?  It's cold and rainy here, but I know that every Monday provides a fresh start!

Larry, I seem to be very busy and on the verge of failing to accomplish "must do's"... but I am somehow accomplishing all I need to do and a little bit more.  Have a good week.

This is a good attitude to have on a Monday ... and every day!  Each day we're given another opportunity to work towards and achieve our goals -- and the chance at a fresh start!

Larry -- sorry to hear you have rain and gray skies today.  However, that is great incentive to get things done in the office.   Here, we are having a sunny Monday, and it makes one want to be outside (where very little office work would be done.)

Larry,

Choice is a wonderful thing to have and I've often marveled at how my day can change just by changing my attitude and outlook.

I hope this evening is a nice one for you,

Jo

I was just listening to Ester Hick and she feels that there isn't any disruption in those times, it's more just a new direction that life is taking you. What's your take?
