Ask a majority of mothers what was the happiest day in their life? An overwhelming majority will tell you the day their children were born. Next to that you might hear things like, Their childrens fist steps, learning to talk, high school graduation and the list goes on an on.
Something about the gift of Motherhood that just blesses the soul of most moms. When our children are happy, our souls dance with them. When are children hurt, our hearts hurt as well. Their is no favorite child, they are all loved just as much and our hearts expand for each new child. Each child is near and dear and we praise them for their unique gifts.
Motherhood is such a gift and that that is why I chose Real Estate as my career. Being a single mom, I knew if I stayed with a different job I was going to miss out on the memories I wanted to share with my children. When they are sick, I am here. When they get awards at school, I get to go. When they have a project , I get to help. I do not have to ask someone to allow me to be a mom, I get to be one. These are moments that to me I cant put a price tag on.
Being in Real Estate is such a blessing to me. I love my job and being able to help people find their dream home. It feels so amazing to be able to hand someone keys to a home they just purchased and know you looked out for their best interest the whole way through.
Yes there are days I work long hours, and I would be a liar if I said it was all rosy, because like any other career it has its thorns.. But Real Estate enables me to be the best mom I can be. I can set my own schedule, work from home when I need to and not have to chose between kids and work. I am grateful to be a mom who one day wont have to look back at all the moments I have missed.
I love being a mom and I love Real Estate!
